Reference Photo Guide...
Good quality photographs are essential to ensure a beautifully detailed portrait. If possible please send 3 or 4 good quality photographs so that the best outcome can be achieved.
The following tips will help you to choose a suitable photo:
1. GOOD LIGHTING
Can you clearly see your pet?
Ensure there are no dark shadows or over exposed areas.
Natural outside lighting will produce better quality photos!
2. EYE DETAILS
Can you see the true colour of your pets eyes?
3. CORRECT PROPORTIONS
Is your photo balanced ensuring your pet does not look distorted?
Is the camera a good distance from your pet, ie. not too far away?
The best photos come from those taken at eye level of your pet!
Note:
Please send 3 or 4 good quality photographs so that the most accurate colours can be achieved.
*If a Memorial Portrait is wanted for a pet that has sadly passed away, it is often difficult to find quality photographs. I am more than happy to work with you to select a workable image before committing to a commission.
